Services as Covid Level 4 continues
One full week into Alert Level 4 our teams understand the challenges that the lockdown is creating for your business and regular operations.
A reminder as we wait and watch the progress of the Delta outbreak:
Contactless deliveries are the safest for your people and for ours - so no signatures are being sought as proof of delivery and no claims will be accepted where they are only based on the lack of a signed POD.
We are constantly monitoring freight volumes across the network and will review service runs as and when required.
Storage nationally and in our depots is at a premium. Please check that your customers or receivers are able to receive freight we are delivering on your behalf. If they are not then we will have to charge for the cost to us of delivering returns and given the pressure on the network returns may not always be possible.
We’ll try our hardest to accommodate requests but normal pick-up and delivery times are not guaranteed
Finally, our customer service and operational support teams are here to help you, and are working our usual hours. Email is your best option for answers to any queries, and it’s our preferred contact method.
We are doing our best to support all customer needs and our teams of drivers, stores, dispatch and other depot staff are grateful for the positive feedback they’ve been receiving. It’s a big boost to them as many of our people, like yours, are working in some trying conditions.
Please keep checking for updates here – the next likely change will be with the alert level decision for regions outside of Auckland which is due this Friday afternoon.
Thanks, and keep well,
