Capacity to move inter-island freight
Interislander ferry services will be reduced from tomorrow until at least the end of the month (Sep 30) which will put some pressure on availability for all Cook Strait services.
Interislander capacity is being reduced from 3 boats to 1 boat as they manage maintenance issues.
We have cover bookings in place to put most customer minds at ease but this temporary reduction in capacity between the islands would be an issue for any late notice or unplanned freight.
Please ensure you book well in advance and keep this constraint in mind. Any weather or other delays that do go ahead could impact our delivery schedules.
