Network Update | Ferry Cancellations '16 August 26

Additional Ferry Services Cancelled

We wanted to provide a further update regarding Bluebridge services.

Unfortunately, repair work is taking longer than initially anticipated, and sailings will not resume tomorrow morning as previously expected.

As a result, the following additional sailings have been cancelled, in addition to those already communicated:

Monday 17 August

  • Wellington to Picton | 8:15 am

  • Picton to Wellington | 2:00 pm

We will continue to keep you informed and will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available.

We would like to advise that Bluebridge has identified a mechanical issue with the Connemara during scheduled maintenance today. The issue requires further investigation and repair and, as a result, the following sailings have been cancelled:

Sunday 16 August

  • Wellington to Picton | 8:30pm

Monday 17 August

  • Picton to Wellington | 2:30 am

Our Operations team is working closely with Bluebridge to understand any impact on freight movements and to minimise disruption wherever possible.
