Due to final sea trials and pending Maritime New Zealand clearance, the Commemara’s return to service has been further delayed and the following additional sailings have been cancelled.

Wednesday 1 April

  • Wellington to Picton: 8.15 am

  • Picton to Wellington: 2.00 pm

31 March | 2.30 pm


We would like to provide an update on the return to service of the Connemara.

Bluebridge has advised that repair work has now been successfully completed and the vessel is currently undergoing final testing and sea trials. Subject to the successful completion of these activities and final regulatory sign-off from Maritime New Zealand, the Connemara is scheduled to return to service at 8:15am on Wednesday 1 April.

Due to the time required to complete these final steps, the following additional sailings have been cancelled:

Tuesday 31 March

  • Wellington to Picton: 8:30 pm

Wednesday 1 April

  • Picton to Wellington: 2:30 am
