Network update | 26' - 30 March - Notification of 24 Hour Disruption
IMPORTANT UPDATE
We are providing an update regarding the Connermara’s return to service. Due to the complexity of the required work, services are now expected to resume on Monday 30 March at 8:15 am.
As a further consequence of these ongoing constraints, the Livia will be required to undertake a mandatory 24 hour reset and refuel on Saturday 28 March. Scheduled sailings during this period will be cancelled, with services resuming once the vessel returns to service.
Key network impacts
These events represent a network wide constraint, not an isolated service disruption.
During this short period, we are effectively without a reliable mechanism to move freight between the North and South Islands.
Network capacity is severely constrained, requiring the active prioritisation of freight, with essential freight taking precedence. Please delay the dispatch of Inter-Island freight during this time.
Even with vessels returning to service as advised by Bluebridge, the volume of backlog will require several days to clear, with flow on impacts expected to continue into the following week as network operations stabilise.
We can confirm the following sailings will be affected:

Wellington to Picton: 2.00 am Delayed
Picton to Wellington: 7.45 am Delayed
