Re: Upper South Island State Highway Summer Maintenance Programme

Both the Weld Pass and Hundalee Curves (State Highway 1) will be closed overnight each night next week for up to 2 weeks.

Our Hall’s Christchurch team have been working closely with NZTA to try and minimize the impact on our network as this is a key route for us and our customers.

Unfortunately, there will be an impact on our overnight Interisland scheduled runs. The closures mean we will be running a delayed schedule in and out of Christchurch due to our drivers either having to be based in Picton to match opening timings or take the longer detour route.
