CYCLONE GABRIELLE - 14'FEB
We wish to update you on developments overnight.
There will be no freight movement in the following regions today due to the destructive impact of Cyclone Gabrielle:
Northland
Coromandel
Gisborne
Hawke's Bay
There are major issues reported in Hawera and Taranaki regions, so expect freight delays. We've had instances where our drivers were forced to turn back as they felt unsafe and could not proceed with their scheduled run.
There will be no export freight movements this week.
In short, please expect delays and service disruption across the whole of the North Island until further notice. We appreciate your support and understanding as our teams on the ground manage these ever-changing situations.
See the latest cyclone updates from MetService here and please continue to check back here for further service announcements.
