AUCKLAND SEVERE WEATHER WARNINGS

With the severe weather and flood warnings in place currently, please note that travel within the Auckland area and surrounds is very slow at the moment, so there will be delays in freight movement. Our operations teams are keeping a close eye on road closures and flood warnings as notifications are received from NZTA Auckland and Northland. Civil Defence have also earlier issued a ‘severe weather’ alert and advised that a state of emergency has been declared for Auckland.

Some of the latest notifications via NZTA:

• SH16 Kaukapakapa to Wellsford is blocked due to a fallen tree (4:55pm)

• SH14 Maungatapere to Dargaville - reports of flooding (4:45pm)
