AUCKLAND FLOODING - DELAYS

Please be advised of network delays due to the flooding across Auckland and surrounds.

  • Services to Northland have been ceased till further updates on roading are received from NZTA. Roads are not considered safe for our vehicles at this point.

  • Some Auckland regions are impacted.

  • Our Takanini site is flooded but operational.

Please know that our teams are working hard to maintain service under these conditions and we appreciate your support and understanding.

The National Emergency Management Agency, and Auckland Transport, has advised that with more rain anticipated in Auckland over the next 48 hours, roads and transport services will be under some pressure, depending on where you are in the Auckland region.

The weather pressure point is from 5pm today and overnight until Wednesday morning for the north of Auckland (from Orewa North), Northland and Coromandel, where a code Red ‘heavy rain warning’ has been put in place.

Services to Northland have resumed however are delayed.

Delayed services are also expected in Coromandel and surrounds.
