Update on Covid Alert Level 2
With the announcement that the country will be moving to Covid Alert Level 2 from midnight tomorrow, we wish to advise of the below update in our services.
We are expecting an increase in freight movement volumes as businesses re-open nationwide and are currently coordinating planning to ensure a smooth transition and alignment with service expectations.
To assist us with planning, please try to ensure that you book as early as possible.
We would also appreciate advance notice if your volumes have been down over the previous few weeks and you are now anticipating an increase in orders – please get in touch with your regional account manager with planned freight movement schedules.
General safety awareness and practices embedded in Alert Level 3 will continue to be observed and followed by our teams. This is to help ensure the safety of our own people and those of our customers and others we deal with.
In our depots and cool stores, our teams will continue to observe the recommended distancing in the workplace.
As an additional precaution during this time our sites remain closed to all but critical business visitors. We will advise when customer drop offs and pickups including cash sales can resume.
If you have any general enquiries regarding movement of your freight, please contact our team in the first instance by email via customer.support@halls.co.nz.
We’re proud to continue working with you in the transport of New Zealand’s finest food.
Kind regards, Hall’s Refrigerated Transport Team
