Celebrating Our People | CSA Conference 2026

the New Zealand Cold Storage Association Conference at Te Pae Christchurch brought together more than 360 delegates and 60 exhibitors from across New Zealand's cool chain industry, including storage operators, customers and service providers.

For Hall's, it was a particularly proud occasion, with two of our leaders recognised as finalists in the Emerging Leaders Awards.

A huge congratulations to Kristie Backe-Hansen, Operations Manager, East Tamaki, and Lewis Sanders, Operations Manager, Oringi, on this well-deserved recognition. Having two Hall's leaders acknowledged among the industry's emerging talent is a fantastic achievement and reflects the strength of leadership across our business.

The conference also provided an opportunity to celebrate Hall's wider contribution to our communities, with Anthony Browne receiving a New Zealand Food Network award in recognition of Hall's commitment to reducing food waste and supporting those in need.
