Ian Cooper, GM Storage and Strategy

Ian Cooper joined Hall’s in November 2020 in a new role leading strategy development for the Group.  He’s also leading Icepak, our warehousing and storage business unit.

Ian’s an experienced General Manager and Head of Strategy with a demonstrated strength in business development, planning, logistics, finance and business transformation.

His most recent role has been as Head of Strategy and Innovation for the Building Products division of Fletcher Building which employs over 2,000 people across more than 60 sites in New Zealand.

His formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and a Bachelor of Science, Botany which he has put to good use at his family’s lifestyle block in Pukekohe.
