Safety Focus at Hall’s

Two Hall’s business units have recently achieved a milestone reaching 12 months free of a single lost-time injury (LTI). 

Hall’s Roadways was the first to achieve this in July this year, followed now by Hall’s QSR. 

Senior managers for both have congratulated the teams on the achievement with individual letters, and a specially engraved gift. 

Hall’s Group CEO, Alan Pearson, says all of us need to make a steep improvement with regards to our attitude and daily habits towards safety in New Zealand. 

“Within Hall’s we have made tremendous improvements but we’ve only begun and journey and have a long way to go. We are willing to learn off others and adopt policies, procedures and work routines that will improve our safety performance.”

“Unless we all change, taking personal accountability for safety, and start to take part in the safety focus, we will not improve.”
