New Director Announced

The Hall’s Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Quinn to the Board as an independent director with effect from July 2014.

He brings a wealth of experience to the Group with a significant career in the transport, distribution and technology sectors. 

Mr Quinn was the inaugural CEO of KiwiRail from 2009 to 2014 and successfully guided the successful re-integration of that company’s businesses following its return to national ownership.

Prior to this, for five years, he was the Chief Executive of Express Couriers, forming a joint venture between NZ Post and DHL, having also been General Manager of the processing and sales divisions of NZ Post. 

Hall’s newest director also sits on the Board of the Lyttelton Port Company, Payments New Zealand and Tubman Heating.

Jim Quinn replaces Mark Bellas on the Board who had served for nearly 10 years through a number of acquisitions and major developments.  His significant contribution over those years is gratefully acknowledged, and Hall’s wish him all the best in the future.
